Parody - Rolling Stones, "Get Off My Cloud":
Omphale, "Get Off Me Thrall":
Mates know I lubs to CI now, the pressure's on but we really do all right
The token's made in time to avoid the fray, the Eo's gone away
Island's in sight
Land ho! In the cove on 4 as the cutter's shot hits nuttin' but sea
'N that rum we drank steels our nerves for the battles
About to be
Gather'd 'bout the loot pile now arr CO shouts "Protect n watch those teams"
The Rumble begins with three dots 'neath me green, wrinkly
Frenemy
And I tells 'em: hoy (hoy) ye (ye) get off 'o me thrall
Hoy (hoy) ye (ye) get off 'o me thrall
Hoy (hoy) ye (ye) get off 'o me thrall
Don't scupper 'round cuz we'll insta ye (that's right, zombies!)
Plundered the hoard o' goods just as quick as could be
But t'was a pest infestation which kept that frenetic
Away from me (Pon my word!)
Mayhap dug up somethin' extra shiny now, cuz trees arr joinin' up with them spears
And yet again me little friend is as bait ta them, but we
Knows no fear
/ me tarts: hoy (hoy) ye (ye) get off o' me thrall
Hoy (hoy), ye (ye) get off o' me thrall
Hoy (hoy), ye (ye) get off o' me thrall
Don't scupper 'round cuz we'll insta ye (that's right, hommies!)
Hoy (hoy) ye (ye) get off o' me thrall
Hoy (hoy) ye (ye) get off o' me thrall
Hoy (hoy) ye (ye) get off o' me thrall
Don't scupper 'round cuz we'll insta ye (repeat n fade)
< I know I took a few minor liberties with the structure (ie, inserted a third verse before the first chorus), but it would've been really close. And I had a whole plan to record it, too... Clarinet for the bass, flute for the simple steady lick, guitar just to function as sound-canvas, and some dinger-clankies for rhythm. It would've been fun (ridiculously silly-fun), I think, if I could've managed to record a clean take without too much laughter.>

I skipped over the paragraphs and only read the numbered rules. Although my thrall idea didn't fit in with the thread title of singing Hera's praises (I dunno her enough to do that anyway), it seemed to still fit the rules, so I went about writing it. Just before I was about to submit the parody, I re-read the OP - this time, fully, and I noticed the paragraph which specifically requested a "parody song celebrating Spring in Puzzle Pirates".
So, anyway, this is the result of not reading all of the directions. I *did* have much fun writing it. Enjoy!
