So pumice work seems to take the longest, but it's also the most capable. Nevertheless, without further ado I present the fullscene* for the dune study I referred to earlier which I developed into a more cohesive concept, and thus creatively named Dune.

*Actually, it refuses to save the fullscreen, which I find mindlessly irritating, and that's the overview.
If any of ye know how I can lob this error code at a developer, please let me know:

The obvious answer is Java, Davy Jones take its accursedly obstinate soul, is demanding a larger memory allocation (Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space) in order to complete the fullscene. There's a parameter inside the program's getdown.txt for -Xmx128M, but changing it causes the client to revalidate and re-acquire the lesser parameter. Until I can find the core java executable or whatever else is changing my edits automatically, I will probably be unable to print larger scenes.

So today has been frustrating. Splitting things in half to meet the demands of unnecessarily-restrictive programming gives me the unsavory parallel of trimming a Salvadore Dali painting to it can fit in a Lowes picture frame. But, one must move on and hope some day a solution will present itself.

I think I executed the concept I had in mind though, and was able to work out a 'medium' size island. The ascending dirt still looks funky though. Call it Banks Island.

Up next, work out something with oak and/or marble. Without any more damnable pumice.

Not sure if the concept is salient, but I think I executed it allright. Sub-sea-level trees isn't exactly the most natural idea, but working in the top-left inlet helped to fill in the details that makes it a bit more feasible. Maybe I'll try it in a different situation (without trees).
Call it Circe's Cauldron. Should explain a bit more of the ethos (and pumpkins).

On the list for things to try next: Agrarianism, stone walls, marble in a field, hell just call it Scotland. But first, time to make a proper swamp, which I shall name Barrowmoore, and fill with death and decay.

This rock.

You'll see it in almost every scene I do. It's the most flexible one, and the only one that can really convey height.

Anyway:



Tickets start at 600PoE. I'll admit the idea didn't hold together as much as maybe it should've for an outpost island, but I ended up jamming way too much stuff in the interior to play up the 'spook' factor. The lava is just one example of overkill. Going for a more sparse layout, with scattered trees and more flat might make for a more unique result, but eh; one goes with the flow with these things. Might pend a re-design.
I threw in an interior scene for the entrance that's the center fixture as a sort-of crypt, and was going to make made a second deeper layer.

I also worked up another concept for a medium island, but it was too large for a single fullscreen again so I don't feel compelled to post the result.

Up next, pending another crypt scene, is a quarry or something, mostly to use marble and mess around with stone base tiles.
